Types of wall trim for outdoor lighting

Wall luminaires or outdoor luminaires are outdoor luminaires usually mounted on the exterior walls of buildings. They are also ideal for illuminating traffic lanes, streets, and walkways adjacent to buildings as they can be mounted on lighting poles.

Although wall lamps protect the outdoors safely by generating adequate light, they can also beautify an outdoors. For example, wall lamps with unique and modern design can illuminate an outdoor area and add architectural details.

Wall packs usually distribute light in three ways: ordinary wall packs light the light out and down, semi-cut and fully cut wall packs distribute light down, while wall-top packs deliver light to the outside; low distribute the light up and down. All of these varieties provide excellent ideal light for outdoor spaces and enhances their safety.

Let's take a look at three types of wall lights that are perfect for your building or construction project.

Flood LED wall projectors

Offering high-intensity light and low light pollution, traditional wall panels (LEDs) are an excellent addition to any large outdoor space. They can improve safety outside of warehouses, retail stores, packing garages and other facilities. They are a perfect replacement for metal halide lamps, thanks to their long service life and low maintenance.

The wall packs (LEDs) sold by MyLEDLightingGuide have a lifespan of 50,000 to 100,000 hours. Their power consumption is between 24 and 96 watts and their color temperature between 5000 and 5700 k. Traditional LED wall kits are much more energy efficient than HID lamps. For example, the 75W-125W LEDs sold by my LED lighting guide emit between 155 and 165 lumens. All light packs have a 10-year warranty. They are compatible with Dark Sky and are UL listed for wet environments.

Semi-cutting and full-cut LED wall lamps

As mentioned before, semi-cut and full-cut wall block light down, eliminating night sky contamination, while providing high-intensity light that enhances safety and security.

They can be used outside commercial buildings, educational institutions, hospitals, garages, and public spaces. They are virtually maintenance-free, consume very little power and can replace metal halide lamps, fluorescent lamps and other types of lamps used outdoors. These wall lamps consume up to 80% less electricity and can operate up to 100,000 hours while maintaining a high luminous flux. Click here for more.
